About Me
My clinical work has been shaped by experience across a range of settings and populations. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant University. During my graduate and pre-licensure training, I spent five years working in community mental health and crisis residential programs, providing psychotherapy and supportive services to adults living with significant mental health challenges and substance use concerns.

For the past three years, I have worked in a healthcare setting providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds. I have supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Across these settings, I have become increasingly interested in the ways people's present struggles are shaped by their histories, relationships, and the environments in which they live.

These experiences led me toward psychoanalytic psychotherapy, which offers a depth-oriented approach to understanding emotional life and the ways aspects of ourselves may exist outside of conscious awareness. I was drawn to its emphasis on curiosity, reflection, and the ongoing process of developing a deeper understanding of ourselves.

I am currently undertaking advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis, where I continue to deepen my clinical work through coursework, supervision, and engagement with psychoanalytic theory and practice.
