Liam Dunn LMFT
Making a change is not always easy. Sometimes we come to therapy because we have a clear idea of what we want to be different. Other times, it's harder to put into words. You may feel disconnected from yourself, stuck in familiar patterns, or simply have a sense that something isn't quite right.
Beginning therapy can bring up a range of emotions. It can feel hopeful, uncomfortable, exciting, and uncertain all at once. Many people wonder if they're ready or question whether therapy is the right step. Those feelings are common, and they don't have to keep you from getting started.
Therapy offers a place to slow down and pay attention to what matters most. Together, we can make space to better understand your experiences, explore parts of yourself that may have been overlooked, and work toward the kind of life that feels more meaningful and authentic to you.
Â
I work with adults and teens across a range of concerns, with a particular interest in understanding relational patterns, intimacy, confidence, and emotional connection. I especially enjoy working with men who may feel capable and successful in many areas of life, yet struggle with vulnerability, self-doubt, dating, or forming the relationships they want.
I look forward to working with you.

What Brings People to Therapy?
Work, Stress, and Anxiety
You may be successful in your career but feel a constant sense of pressure or dread. Anxiety can show up as perfectionism, overthinking, or feeling like you're never doing enough, even when you're accomplishing a great deal.
Life Transitions
Life transitions can be disorienting, whether you're starting a new job, going through a breakup, moving to a new city, or becoming a parent. Therapy can help you navigate these changes and find your footing in a new chapter of life.
Depression
Depression can drain your motivation and pull you away from those you love. Therapy offers a path to decode these heavy emotions, helping you reclaim your daily life and find lasting relief and hope.
Relationship Challenges
Whether you're struggling to communicate with a partner, feeling lonely in your current relationship, or finding it difficult to start dating, therapy offers a space to explore what might be getting in the way of the connections you want.
Identity and Self-Esteem
If you often feel like a fraud or have difficulty feeling proud of your accomplishments, we can work together to build a stronger, more authentic sense of self and quiet the voice of harsh self-criticism.
Breaking Old Patterns
If you find yourself repeating the same mistakes or getting stuck in the same emotional loops, therapy helps bring these subconscious patterns to light so you can begin to make more conscious, healthy choices.
